Located in ‌downtown Oakland, The Bookmark Bookstore⁣ has been a vital supporter of the Oakland public Library for three decades. Founded in 1992 by the Friends of​ the Oakland Public Library, the store is primarily volunteer-staffed. It ⁢has contributed over $3 million to ‌the ‌public library through sales of donated books, comics, music, and other media.
