China Celebrates 70th Anniversary of the National People’s Congress

The Central​ Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Standing Committee of the Chinese National ‌People’s Congress held ⁢a grand ceremony in Beijing to commemorate the 70th‌ anniversary of the founding of the‌ Chinese National People’s Congress.

President Xi Jinping, also the Secretary General of the CPC Central Committee, delivered a significant speech ​at the event. He stressed the importance of ⁣strengthening confidence in China’s path, ideology, system, ⁣and culture. He also emphasized the system’s role in ensuring long-term ‌peace and stability, ‌rapid economic development, ⁤and social stability.

The President emphasized that the National ⁤People’s Congress system is a ⁤good one, ⁤suited ‍to ‍the ⁤country’s national conditions and reality. It embodies the nature‌ of a socialist country and can effectively unite the strength ⁤of all the people to promote Chinese-style modernization.
