After a brief preorder period in April, shipments were temporarily halted due to tariffs, but the wireless mouse is now readily available with Prime shipping.
The N Edition of the Retro R8 matches 8BitDo’s N Edition Retro mechanical Keyboard, available in both tenkeyless and full-size models. This gaming mouse offers extraordinary features for its price.
This isn’t 8BitDo’s first foray into retro-inspired mice. The company previously released an officially licensed, transparent green edition inspired by the original Xbox console.
The ambidextrous Retro R8 Wireless Mouse features NES-red buttons on each side and utilizes Kailh Sword GM X microswitches, graded for up to 100 million clicks. Its PAW 3395 sensor offers six sensitivity levels, ranging from 50 to 26,000 DPI.Polling rates vary from 125Hz in Bluetooth mode to up to 8,000Hz when connected via the included USB-C cable.
