Kendrick Lamar released his sixth studio album, GNX, on November 22, 2023, via PGLang and Interscope. Fans were surprised by the sudden announcement.
The album’s release comes just months before Lamar performs at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show on February 9, 2025, in New Orleans. The 17-time Grammy winner earned seven nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards. His song “Not Like Us” is nominated for record of the year, song of the year, best music video, best rap performance, and best rap song. Additionally, “Like That” is nominated for best rap song and best rap performance.
