“It’s the longest-running comic book specialty store in Minnesota,” says owner Tim Lohn, who took the helm in 2003. ”I keep that because it’s a claim to fame.”
Lohn carries on a tradition that spans generations, connecting wiht customers who share his passion for the world of comics.
“That’s the real fun part of it for me,” Lohn explains. ”The feeling of seeing their satisfaction. I’ve been looking for this and that’s a neat feeling to do that.”

Tim Lohn: Absolutely! comic Book College opened its doors in Minneapolis back in 1974. It’s been a real cornerstone for comic book fans in the state ever as. I took over ownership in 2003, and I’m incredibly proud to carry on that tradition.

Tim Lohn: I think it’s a combination of things.Obviously, people love comics, right? They offer escape, adventure, and a chance to connect with characters and stories that resonate deeply. But beyond that, I believe it’s about building a community.
