Astros’ Isaac Paredes Exits Game with ‍Hamstring Injury

Houston Astros’ Isaac​ Paredes, a key player this season, exited ‍Thursday’s 4-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox⁤ with a left hamstring injury. the third baseman, who hit his 15th home run earlier in the game, appeared to hurt⁣ himself running ​to first base on⁣ a double play ball.

Manager Joe​ Espada said Paredes will undergo evaluation Friday before​ the series against the Minnesota Twins.the team expects to have a ‌clearer picture of his⁢ condition then.

Rookie Colton Gordon (1-1,5.11 ERA) is slated to start for Houston. He earned his first win June 6 against Cleveland, allowing one run on seven hits ⁤over five innings. This will be his ​first career appearance against the Twins.
