Beyoncé and Jay-Z Reunite for “Crazy in Love” in Paris

Paris witnessed⁢ a rare treat ⁢Sunday night as Beyoncé⁤ and Jay-Z ‌shared the stage ‌for “Crazy in love.” The performance, a highlight of Beyoncé’s Cowboy ‍Carter Tour stop at Stade de France, marked the⁣ first time ⁤in more than six years the power couple has performed ​the hit song together.

Jay-Z’s surprise​ appearance⁣ electrified the ⁣crowd. He joined Beyoncé for “Crazy in Love,” a “Drunk in Love” remix, and even performed “N*s in ​Paris.” The last time the pair performed together⁢ was⁢ at the Global Citizen Festival: ​Mandela 100 in Johannesburg, South Africa,⁣ on Dec. ⁢2, 2018.

Cardi B, who⁣ attended the concert in full Cowboy Carter attire,⁤ captured the moment when Beyoncé stepped aside, revealing Jay-Z to rap⁤ his verse. Video footage also showed ​Cardi B, Kelly ⁣Rowland, and Tina Knowles dancing during Jay-Z’s performance of‌ “Ns in Paris.”

“Crazy ‌in Love,”‌ originally released⁢ in 2003, topped the hot 100⁤ chart for eight⁤ weeks. While the song is a staple of the cowboy Carter Tour, Sunday’s‍ performance was the first time “Drunk in Love” ⁣and “N*s in Paris” ⁣were included in the setlist.

The June 22 show⁣ wasn’t ⁣the only surprise⁢ for Parisian fans. Miley Cyrus⁣ joined Beyoncé onstage June 19 for⁢ the live‍ debut of their ⁤collaboration, “II Most Wanted.”
