When questioned by Norwegian broadcaster NRK, Poulsen stated that Norway’s inclusion in the guard force would be a natural fit. However, Norway’s Defense Minister, Tore O. Sandvik, indicated that the proposal is one of several currently under consideration within the NATO framework.
“It is not a bad idea, but we will see what we agree on within the framework of NATO,” Sandvik told NRK.
