Danish soldiers arrived in Nuuk, Greenland, on monday via a flight from the Faroese airline Atlantic Airways, according to images from the city’s airport.
The Danish Defense earlier in the day announced that several danish soldiers where en route to Greenland, describing the deployment as a “significant contribution.”
Army Chief Peter Boysen was reported to be traveling to Greenland with the soldiers.
Additional Danish soldiers arrived in Nuuk by boat on Sunday.
