Rockstar North Reopens After Heating System Malfunction
Rockstar North, the developer of Grand Theft auto 6, reopened today after a heating system malfunction caused a disruption at its offices. A spokesperson for Rockstar Games confirmed to IGN that an issue with a boiler occurred early Monday morning.
“Monday morning saw a fault with a heating boiler at Rockstar North,” the spokesperson stated. “Thank you to everyone who reached out with concern, and to the police and fire teams who were quick to attend and assess the situation – thankfully everyone is safe and our studio remains open and operational.”
Earlier reports from emergency services mentioned securing “structural damage” to the building, but Rockstar’s statement suggests any damage was minimal.
