Genk’s European Run Boosts Finances Despite Domestic Struggles

As of January 29,2026,Genk has virtually secured approximately €11.5 million through its European campaign. This includes:
- €4.31 million for participation in the Europa League group stage.
- €1.95 million from accumulating 13 points in the Europa League (each point valued at €150,000).
- €300,000 for qualifying for the knockout play-off round.
- €2.025 million earned from their current position in the Europa League standings.
