Europa League Playoff Draw Sets Stage for Chilean Players
The Europa League Round of 16 playoff draw has persistent the path for Chilean players hoping to reach the final in Istanbul. Several key matchups emerged from the draw,setting the stage for a competitive knockout stage.

How the round of 16 Draw Works
- clubs are paired based on their final league stage position to create four seeded pairings (clubs finishing 9th & 10th, 11th & 12th, 13th & 14th, and 15th & 16th) and four unseeded pairings (clubs finishing 17th & 18th, 19th & 20th, 21st & 22nd, and 23rd & 24th).
- Clubs from the same national association cannot be drawn against each other.
- Seeded teams are drawn first and play the second leg at home.
