Eugene Levy Mourns catherine O’Hara After Her death
Eugene Levy remembered his friend and frequent collaborator Catherine O’Hara following news of her death on Friday.
“Words seem inadequate to express the loss I feel today. I had the honour of knowing and working with the great Catherine O’Hara for over fifty years,” Levy said in a statement to Rolling Stone.
Levy and O’Hara’s careers intertwined for decades. They began performing together on the Second City stage, continued with SCTV, collaborated on films with Chris Guest, and starred together for six seasons on Schitt’s Creek. “From our beginnings on the Second City stage, to SCTV, to the movies we did with Chris Guest, to our six glorious years on Schitt’s Creek, I cherished our working relationship, but most of all our friendship. And I will miss her,” Levy stated. He extended his condolences to O’Hara’s family, including her husband Bo Welch and their sons Matthew and Luke.
