Man Dies Following Shooting at Woodbine Mall in Rexdale
A man in his 30s has died after being shot at Woodbine Mall in Rexdale, Toronto, on Saturday afternoon, .
Toronto police responded to a call at approximately 3:31 p.m. Regarding the shooting, which took place in the area of Rexdale Boulevard and Highway 27. The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the shooting was targeted, according to Insp. Errol Watson, who spoke to reporters at the scene. “At this time, it’s still an active investigation and we’re still working on those details,” Watson said when asked about suspect information.

Police stated that the suspect or suspects fled the scene in a vehicle. The homicide unit is now leading the investigation.
