NEW BRITAIN, Pa. – Arcadia University defeated Delaware Valley University 65-56 in a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) matchup on Monday evening. The Knights used a strong first-half run to build a lead they wouldn’t relinquish, despite a second-half push from the Delaware Valley.
The game began evenly matched, with both teams trading leads for the first seven minutes. Delaware Valley held a narrow 13-12 advantage before Arcadia responded with a 23-15 run to close out the first half, establishing a 36-27 lead at the intermission.
Delaware Valley attempted to rally at the start of the second half, opening with a 9-2 run to narrow the deficit to 38-36 within the first five minutes. However, Arcadia answered with a decisive 25-12 run, extending their lead to 15 points at 63-48 with just over three minutes remaining, effectively sealing the victory.
Nas Johnson led all scorers with 21 points for Arcadia. Jamison Lynam contributed 15 points, while Joshua Okocha added 13 points and a team-high 13 rebounds. Kyndall Crawford pulled down 10 rebounds and Amyr Walker added 7.
Walker also dished out 3 assists, with Crawford adding 2. Defensively, Alex Hermann recorded 3 steals, while Okocha and Lynam each added a block.
Arcadia’s victory improves their overall record to 15-6 and their conference record to 8-2. Delaware Valley falls to 8-13 overall and 2-8 in MAC Freedom play.
The Knights will return to action on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, with a 7:00 p.m. Game at DeSales University.
