In the South, Group A boys’ tournament, No. 3 Egg Harbor defeated No. 2 Gloucester Tech 95-75, while No. 1 Cherry Hill East beat No. 5 Southern 105-65. The South, Group B tournament featured wins for No. 1 Mainland (89-81 over No. 3 Ocean City) and No. 1 Shawnee (128-42 over No. 5 Cherry Hill West). Finally, No. 2 Ocean Township defeated No. 3 Shore 94-76 and No. 1 Haddonfield beat No. 4 Haddon Township 100-65 in the South, Group C tournament.
