Dijon’s Habitat Fair Returns with Renewed Focus on Modern Living
Dijon, France – The Salon de l’Habitat, a major event for homeowners and garden enthusiasts, will return to the Parc des Expositions et Congrès de Dijon from to . Organized by Dijon Bourgogne Events, this year’s fair promises a significantly updated experience, aiming to reconnect residents with the possibilities of modern living, both indoors and out.
The event, according to organizers, seeks to address evolving homeowner expectations around comfort, functionality, well-being, and adaptability. The 2026 Salon de l’Habitat is designed as a space for exchange, advice, and solutions, supporting visitors through all stages of their home and garden projects, from initial planning to completion.
The fair’s layout has been redesigned to create a more intuitive and immersive experience, facilitating comparison shopping and direct engagement with professionals. It will be structured around two complementary universes: the home and the garden.
Focus on the Home
The “home” section will bring together professionals specializing in renovation, construction, decoration, energy solutions, and connected home technology. This area is intended to provide resources for homeowners looking to modernize their properties or improve their overall comfort. The focus will be on addressing current challenges in housing, offering solutions for both large-scale renovations and smaller improvements.
Outdoor Living Takes Center Stage
The second universe will highlight gardens and outdoor spaces. Terraces, swimming pools, outdoor furniture, and landscaping will showcase the growing trend of extending living spaces into the outdoors. The emphasis will be on creating convivial, relaxing environments that foster a connection with nature.
A significant event within the garden section will be a large plant sale, organized in partnership with the specialist retailer, Ma Plante. This will allow visitors to discover plants suited to their decorative projects and gain inspiration from current trends in domestic greenery and well-being.
