LIV Golf Adelaide Dates Set for 2027, Tickets Now Available

Adelaide, SA – Dates for the 2027 LIV Golf Adelaide event have been officially confirmed, taking place from March 18-21 at the prestigious Kooyonga Golf Club. The announcement was made today by South Australia Premier Peter Malinauskas and LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil, as players prepared to compete in the 2026 Adelaide tournament.

The move to a March date continues to position LIV Golf Adelaide as a centerpiece of the city’s vibrant festival season, attracting a global audience to the sport. Fans attending this week’s event at The Grange Golf Club have been granted exclusive early access to specially priced hospitality and grounds tickets for the 2027 edition, beginning this Sunday, February 15th. Public ticket sales will commence this Monday, February 16th, and remain open for a seven-day window at LIVGolf.com.

Kooyonga Golf Club, ranked among Australia’s top 20 courses, will host the fifth edition of the event. The championship course, known for its impeccable playing conditions and historical significance, is conveniently located just 15 minutes from Adelaide’s central business district. LIV Golf is collaborating with stakeholders to finalize course plans, which will be unveiled at a later date.

Adelaide has secured its position as the exclusive Australian home for LIV Golf through at least 2031. In 2028, the league will transition to the redeveloped North Adelaide Golf Course, bringing the competition closer to the heart of the city.

LIV Golf Adelaide has already generated an estimated $217 million in economic benefits for South Australia, attracting over 260,000 fans to date. Organizers anticipate record attendance numbers will continue as the event grows in popularity.

Premier Malinauskas Highlights Event’s Success

South Australia Premier Peter Malinauskas emphasized the event’s positive impact, stating, “LIV Golf Adelaide is a major success story for South Australia and global golf, and we’re thrilled for the next instalment at Kooyonga Golf Club in March 2027 as we continue planning for LIV Golf’s exciting future in Adelaide.” He added, “The event has quickly established itself as a major drawcard in our quality events calendar and we expect tickets for 2027 to be a hot property. From delivering out-of-state tourism and economic impact to receiving global recognition as the World’s Best Golf event for three years running, LIV Golf Adelaide has cemented itself as one of the can’t-miss events of the year that will only continue to get bigger and better.”

LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil Praises Adelaide Partnership

Scott O’Neil, CEO of LIV Golf, echoed the sentiment, saying, “LIV Golf Adelaide continues to be the blueprint for our league’s global event model as we bring many of the biggest names in golf and entertainment to the four corners of the world. We pride ourselves on putting on fan-friendly events that allow the superstars of golf to shine, and nowhere is that better showcased than Adelaide. South Australia has been a true partner in embracing the LIV Golf model that is making a significant impact on and off the golf course, and we couldn’t be more excited about the future of this event at Kooyonga Golf Club in 2027 followed by North Adelaide for years to come.”

Currently, the 2026 LIV Golf Adelaide event is underway at The Grange Golf Club, featuring a new 72-hole, 57-player format. Australian rising star Elvis Smylie, fresh off an individual victory at the ROSHN Group LIV Golf Riyadh, is competing alongside his Ripper GC team, aiming for a second consecutive team win on home soil.

The event also boasts a lineup of live music acts, including Peking Duk, Royel Otis, John Summit, and FISHER, performing throughout the four days. Further details can be found at LIVGolf.com.
