A 24-piece stainless steel cutlery set priced at 12.99 euros is now available at Pingo Doce

A 24-piece stainless steel cutlery set priced at 12.99 euros is now available at Pingo Doce, featuring a design that makes it clearly reminiscent of the Zwilling Nova range.

Stainless Steel Flatware Specifications

At 12.99 euros for 24 pieces, each individual utensil costs roughly 54 cêntimos, which is less than a tenth of the price for the premium Zwilling model priced above 150 euros, as noted in the source material. Sets of this size typically provide six pieces of each utensil type to seat six diners, though buyers must check packaging for exact piece counts. The flatware features a polished, glossy finish with rounded, subtle handles designed to match various tableware styles. Pingo Doce notes that stainless steel resists rust, does not absorb odors, and withstands daily household use.

Maintenance and Care Guidelines

Supermarket guidance advises buyers to expect flatware suited for everyday utility, student housing, secondary residences, offices, or backup entertaining. To extend the lifespan of the set, users should remove cutlery from the dishwasher immediately after the cycle finishes to prevent heat and humidity from forming water spots. Pingodoce.pt warns against soaking the utensils in harsh detergents or bleach to protect the stainless steel finish. Surface rust usually originates from stray iron objects left in contact with the steel and can be removed using baking soda and a soft sponge, followed by thorough drying.

Supermarket Promotions and Availability

The flatware rollout coincides with other discounted household items featured in the current retail catalog, including low-cost thermal bed sheets, premium bath towels, a cast-iron pot styled after Le Creuset, and a high-end coffee machine. The Smukee 24-piece set is stocked across participating Pingo Doce locations through October 26.
