A meeting of parliamentary majority parties is underway in Konjic – TVSA.BA
A meeting of representatives of the majority ruling parties at the federal level is underway in Konjic, attended by representatives of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Along with Nermin Nikšić, Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and leader of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, several other members of the Federal Government are attending the meeting.
HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović, who is also attending the meeting, told Fena earlier today that the meeting of the ruling coalition at the federal level was scheduled even earlier for the end of August. He said that, in addition to the representatives of the Federal Government, he also expects the presence of the head of the FBiH Parliament.
– The idea is to “go through” all the federal subjects. Let’s see what remains of the previous negotiations and agreements, and what has not been implemented. A number of personnel issues will also be considered, such as the appointment of the director of the Federal Police Administration, the auditor, the Independent Board, RTV FBiH, as all these tenders are almost completed. I believe that in the ninth month we will open these processes and agree that the legal solutions that have been pending for a long time will also proceed. Also, there are many projects we want to work on together, and all of that needs to be defined today. We will agree on what the Government should do, what the House of Representatives should do by the end of the year, so that would be the year 2024, as far as the federal level is concerned, successful when it comes to the partnership between the Troika and the HDZ – said Čović.
