The recent summer transfer window has sparked intense debate among Al-Ahly club fans regarding the possible departure of Tunisian left-back Ali Maloul. The Red fans’ love for the Tunisian star has made this topic a subject of great interest.

Contrary to reports, Al-Ahly has decided not to register the Tunisian star in the current squad until next January 2025, allowing him time to recover from his injury. The club has no intention of parting ways with the player or terminating his contract.

Ali Maloul has been absent from Al-Ahly club since last June, after suffering an Achilles tendon rupture during the Red Giants’ match against Esperance of Tunisia in the 2023-2024 African Champions League final.

Maloul joined Al-Ahli Club in July 2016, from Tunisian side CS Sfaxien for $730,000. Since his arrival at the Mokhtar Touch Stadium, he has achieved numerous championships and records.

Throughout his time with the team, Malool has played 287 matches in various tournaments, scoring 51 goals and providing 83 assists. His impressive performance has contributed significantly to the team’s success.

Maloul has won 21 titles with the Al-Ahly club, including 6 Egyptian League titles, 5 Egyptian Super Cup titles, 4 African Champions League and Egyptian Cup titles, and 2 African Super Cup titles.
