Aamir Khan to star in Lokesh Kanagaraj superhero film

Aamir Khan has revealed plans to collaborate with Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj on an upcoming superhero film. Khan, currently promoting his film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par,’ shared details about the project in a recent interview.
“Lokesh and I are doing a film together,” Khan said. “The film will begin next year.He is currently shooting ‘Kaithi 2’. So, next year, August–September, we will start.”
Khan had previously mentioned that the movie would be a superhero film with significant action sequences.
Meanwhile, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, directed by R. S. Prasanna and starring Genelia D’Souza alongside Khan, is slated for release on June 20. The film is a remake of the 2018 Spanish film ‘Champions’. Khan noted that Amitabh Bachchan encouraged him to opt for a theatrical release,despite advice from others in the industry to consider an OTT platform.
