A$AP Rocky to Honour A$AP yams with Cinematic Performance
A$AP Rocky plans a special tribute to his late friend and A$AP Mob co-founder, A$AP Yams, during Yams Day 2026. The performance will be a cinematic experience streamed live across multiple platforms,offering fans a unique way to celebrate Yams’ legacy.
Rocky will preview music from his upcoming album, Don’t Be Dumb, during the Yams Day event. Details about the album remain scarce, but the performance promises a first look at the new material.
Yams Day, established in 2015, commemorates the life of A$AP Yams, who died in January 2015. The annual event has grown into a notable party of hip-hop culture and a platform for emerging artists.
“Yams was a true visionary and his impact on music and culture is immeasurable,” Rocky said in a statement. “This performance is my way of honoring his memory and sharing my new music with the world.”
