Aaron Popendza Chooses Zamalek Over Rapid Bucharest
Gabonese star Aaron Popendza has made a decision on his future, opting to join Zamalek club during the current summer transfer window.
According to Romanian newspaper “AM Sport”, Popendza has finalized his official position on a move to either Zamalek or Romanian team Rapid Bucharest.
It has been confirmed that Popendza has signed with Zamalek, choosing to represent the Egyptian club. He is set to receive a significant contract worth 5 million euros over a period of three years.
Despite being described as an unparalleled striker in Romania by Romanian newspapers and the Romanian coach of Rapid Bucharest, Popendza has preferred to participate in the Zamalek club and the Egyptian league.
The 28-year-old Gabonese striker is expected to earn an annual salary of one million euros, in addition to bonuses and other incentives.
