Aaron Rodgers, the new quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has announced he secretly married earlier this year. The four-time NFL MVP’s revelation follows his decision to sign a one-year contract with the Steelers after becoming a free agent.
Rodgers, 41, confirmed the marriage at a news conference Tuesday, following his first training day with the team. He was spotted wearing a wedding band in a photo shared by the Steelers after signing his contract saturday.
“Yeah, it’s a wedding ring,” Rodgers said when asked about the band. He added that the marriage occurred “a couple of months” ago.
