The ADJD’s efforts are part of‍ a broader initiative to improve the judicial system’s efficiency and ensure fair resolution processes. A judicial committee finalized 1,348 lawsuits and enforcement actions against Wahat Al Zaweya Investment and Real ⁢Estate Development Company.

A‍ key component of the Wahat Al Zaweya project‍ settlements involved restructuring a AED360 million ($98 million) debt owed by ⁢the company to a bank. These resolutions have facilitated the resumption of ‍construction at Wahat Al Zaweya, under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Real ⁢Estate center. The project is now divided into 14 phases, with purchase payments mandated to ⁤be deposited into an escrow account managed by ⁣the centre.

In the Wahat Yas project, the judicial committee resolved a dispute between ⁢Wahat Yas Real estate Development Company and ‍Wahat Al Zaweya Investment and development Company regarding a plot in the Al Raha ⁤Beach⁢ area. All 53 related lawsuits and ‍enforcement files were closed.
