Earthen Company released two new timepieces, the Nightfall and the Moonglow, on April 3, 2026. These models are part of the brand’s Summit collection and are positioned as accessible full-ceramic field watches, combining high-performance materials with a minimalist design.

The Nightfall and Moonglow are based on the previous Mk2 Summit model. They feature a compact case measuring 38mm in diameter and 10.4mm in height. The Nightfall utilizes a black ceramic case, while the Moonglow features a white ceramic case. The ceramic construction is designed to be lightweight and scratch-resistant for everyday use.

Material and Dial Specifications

Both models introduce aventurine stone dials, which are surfaces infused with metallic inclusions to create a star-like effect. This material causes the dial to shift between a subtle glow and a pronounced sparkle depending on the light.

To accommodate the thicker construction of the aventurine dials, Earthen Company implemented a revised sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective (AR) coating. The watches also feature an oversized crown that includes a purple ring and a solid case back with circular brushing.

The layout of the dial has been revised from previous Summit models to emphasize a cleaner aesthetic. Earthen Company removed Arabic numerals in favor of a minimalist display. The watches include enlarged minute and seconds tracks with fully lumed printing, a triangle marker at 12 o’clock, and the brand’s signature skier motif located at 6 o’clock.

Technical Internals and Performance

The Nightfall and Moonglow are powered by the Miyota 9039 automatic movement. This movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 42-hour power reserve.

Technical Internals and Performance

The movement is configured without a date function. According to the brand, this no-date configuration is intended to keep the dial symmetrical and uncluttered, maintaining the functional, tool-oriented concept of the field watch.

In terms of durability and environmental resistance, the watches are rated for water resistance up to 100 meters.

Company Background and Market Positioning

Founded in 2025 in Hong Kong, Earthen Company entered the market with a focus on combining modern materials and vintage-inspired proportions with accessible pricing. The brand’s initial Summit collection consisted of three ceramic field watches designed as outdoor tools.

The Nightfall and Moonglow are priced at USD 1,099, excluding tax. This pricing strategy is intended to make full-ceramic watches more accessible, as ceramic materials have traditionally been reserved for more expensive luxury timepieces.

Industry commentary has noted the brand’s approach to the ceramic market. A review from Time+Tide describes the brand’s effort as the democratisation of full-ceramic cases and functionality that outweighs its price point.
