East China Senior Tennis Invitational Tournament concluded in Xiamen
Xiamen Daily (Reporter Lu Pengyu) The 2024 East China Senior Tennis Invitational Tournament concluded recently in Xiamen, with 157 athletes from 11 units and 12 teams participating. Jiangsu team, Zhejiang team, and Xiamen first team won the top three teams respectively. The Fujian team won the runner-up in the women’s group A, the third place in the special invitation group and the third place in the women’s group B. The Xiamen team also won the runner-up in the men’s group B. The veteran/Xiamen team two combination won the runner-up in the veteran team group.
The East China Senior Tennis Invitational Tournament is a senior tennis event jointly organized by six provinces and one city in East China, three cities under separate planning including Xiamen, the former Nanjing Military Region and other units. It is a platform to showcase the achievements of senior tennis in East China and to meet friends and enhance friendship through ball. . This year’s competition is hosted by the Xiamen Sports Bureau and the Xiamen Senior Citizens Sports Association, with the Xiamen Veterans Bureau as a supporting unit.
The next competition will be held in Shanghai next year.
