Actor Heinz has been indicted on 31 ⁤charges following a shooting incident near Stockton University on an unspecified date in December. Investigators allege ‌that‌ Heinz shot Maritza Arias-Galva in the face during a ‍road rage altercation, according to reports.

Arias-Galva identified the suspect as driving a white Honda CR-V, leading to Heinz’s detention. The prosecutor’s‌ office asserts that‌ Heinz threatened Arias-Galva wiht the statement, “I will kill ⁤you,” ⁣before firing at her vehicle.

Evidence collected‍ in ⁤the case included weapons and bags found in⁣ a storage unit ‌rented by an associate of the actor.

Surveillance footage reportedly shows Heinz​ returning to Port ‍Republic,‍ armed with a firearm, less than ten minutes after the shooting. Authorities discovered weapons and personal belongings linked ⁣to Heinz in a storage unit rented‍ by a friend.

Heinz’s lawyer has issued ⁤a statement denying the allegations and promising a vigorous legal defence. The attorney ⁢stated the case will be decided by facts, not speculation, and intends to challenge the charges in court.

Victim’s ‌Account and Recovery

Maritza Arias-Galva,⁤ currently recovering in the hospital, recounted attempting to de-escalate the situation. Drawing on her experience in‌ customer service, she ⁤stated she simply thanked the driver. ‍Arias-Galva expressed her determination to survive, emphasizing her ⁢role as the sole family support for her children.
