Actor Dylan Sprouse held a trespasser at gunpoint before tackling the individual to the ground at his Hollywood Hills home in the early morning hours on Friday, April 17, 2026, according to multiple entertainment news sources.
The 33-year-old former Disney star was at his residence with his wife, model Barbara Palvin, when the incident occurred shortly after midnight. Palvin was the one who called 911 to report the intruder, according to a source who spoke with TMZ.
Sprouse reportedly held the suspect at gunpoint prior to physically subduing him. Law enforcement arrived on the scene shortly after the call and took the individual into custody. The Los Angeles Police Department arrested the suspect on outstanding warrants rather than for trespassing, as the couple did not wish to pursue charges for that offense.
Sprouse and Palvin have lived in the four-bedroom, two-bathroom Hollywood Hills estate since their wedding in July 2023. The property, purchased by Sprouse in 2021, is valued at nearly $2 million. Palvin had previously spoken publicly about her health struggles in the past year.
The actor’s twin brother, Cole Sprouse, served as best man at their wedding. The brothers rose to fame as co-stars on the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody from 2005 to 2008, followed by the spinoff The Suite Life on Deck from 2008 to 2011.
Sprouse’s most recent film role was in the 2025 movie Under Fire, where he starred alongside Mason Gooding and Cuba Gooding Jr.’s son. In the film, his character Griff and Gooding’s character Abbott unexpectedly reveal they are both working undercover — Griff as an FBI agent and Abbott as a DEA agent — during a Mexican border drug deal.
Neither Sprouse nor Palvin suffered any injuries during the incident. A source told TMZ that the actor was shaken up but physically unharmed. The suspect was seen in footage obtained by news outlets being handcuffed and removed from the property by police.
