Actress Suddenly Collapses at Gangnam Station

Actor Park Hwan-hee expressed her gratitude to station staff and others for the help she received after fainting while using public transportation.

Park Hwan-hee posted on social media on the 12th, “I was going to the Lulu Lala Academy today, feeling excited and energetic, when I suddenly collapsed on the stairs of Gangnam Station due to dizziness and stomachache without any warning symptoms.” She added, “I am so grateful to the two citizens who came to me, called 119, and took care of me until the end, as well as the Gangnam Station staff. I hope you are blessed.”

“I’m so grateful to the station employee who recognized me and covered my face,” she said, expressing her gratitude for the employee’s consideration. Afterwards, she posted a photo of herself riding the subway and said, “I’m fine now,” and “I think it’ll get better after a little rest.”

Park Hwan-hee’s Struggle with Fibromyalgia

Park Hwan-hee made her face known by appearing on KBS 2TV’s ‘Descendants of the Sun’ in 2016, and recently appeared in ‘Beopjjyeon’, ‘Wedding Battle’, and ‘Chicken Gangjeong’. She previously revealed that she was suffering from fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia is a type of rheumatic disease characterized by chronic pain and fatigue throughout the body, sleep disorders, and tender points.

Fibromyalgia is less common than general muscle pain, but it is a relatively common disease, accounting for 20% of patients visiting rheumatology clinics. It is known that approximately 2-4% of the entire population suffers from it. There is chronic pain in the neck, waist, both shoulders, arms, and legs, as well as up and down the left and right sides. In addition to pain, symptoms such as fatigue and sleep disorders are often accompanied.
