Adam’s sudden departure has left a void in the lives of all who knew him, a testament to the vibrant spirit and genuine warmth he brought to every interaction.

Adam was a man of remarkable skill and dedication, having achieved the distinction of being a dual red seal electrician. His commitment to service extended beyond his trade; he bravely served as both a firefighter and a first responder, consistently putting the needs of others before his own.This dedication exemplified his character and unwavering sense of duty.
A Heart Full of Joy and Laughter
Those who knew Adam will remember him for his swift wit, infectious sense of humor, and the genuine affection he held for animals, especially dogs. He was known for his warm embraces and the deep love he had for his family. Above all, Adam cherished his son, Ashton, who was the center of his world. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures – the thrill of fast cars and motorcycles, a well-executed practical joke, and the music of dave Matthews Band.

In recent years, Adam faced challenges with his mental health. It’s critically important to acknowledge this aspect of his life with compassion and understanding. His family wishes to emphasize that this struggle did not define him, and he will be remembered for the strength and kindness he consistently displayed.

Adam was predeceased by his father, Edgar (Ed) hindy; his maternal grandparents, John and Josephine Graham; his aunt, Joann Smith; and his great-grandmothers, Sadie Graham and merab Seward. Their memories will undoubtedly live on through him.

Adam leaves behind a loving family who will deeply miss his presence. He is survived by his mother, Lynn Hindy; his stepdad, Wade Bailey; his son, Ashton Hindy and Ashton’s mother, Ashley; his sisters, Angela Hindy-Omand (Shawn) and Amanda Gosse (Doug); his paternal grandparents, edgar and Shirley Hindy; his nieces and nephews, Madison and Josh Omand, and Emily and Liam Gosse; his aunts, Jackie Sharpe (John), Marie graham, and Karen Preston (Greg); his uncles, Jerry Graham (Mary) and Peter Graham (Lynn); his special family friend, Helen Locke; Wade’s mother, Eva Bailey; and Wade’s sons, Trevor (Elle), Aaron (Eris), and Mitchell (Michelle). He is also remembered fondly by a wide circle of extended family, friends, and colleagues at Global Corporate Wear/Flip Flops.
Final Arrangements and Honoring Adam’s Memory
Visitation and a Funeral Service will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, located at 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s, NL. Specific details regarding the arrangements will be announced as they become available.
