Adani Enterprises’ subsidiary, Adani Commodities, sold shares of AWL Agri Business worth 25 billion rupees (approximately $278.9 million USD) through bulk deals on Friday, according to exchange data.
The sale involved 39.5 million shares at 275.09 rupees each, as reported by the National stock Exchange of India (NSE), and an additional 51.5 million shares at 275 rupees each, according to data from the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
this transaction represented a roughly 0.6% discount compared to AWL Agri’s closing price on Thursday.
Stake Reduction
As of September 30, Adani commodities held a 20% stake in AWL Agri Business, equivalent to 259.9 million shares, as indicated by exchange data.
