Addie Timoney Passes Away in Cookstown at Lissan

Addie Timoney (née Quinn) of 9 Ballynagilly Road, Lissan, Cookstown BT80 8SX passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 25th, 2026. Also known as Annie and Adeline, she was the loving wife of the late John and the beloved daughter of the late Daniel and Annie Quinn.

Family and Survivors

She was the devoted mother of Laurence (with Tracey), Dermot (with Sheila), and Sean (with Charlotte), and a cherished grandmother to Rebecca, Orann, Aideen, Caitlin, Darragh, Sophia, Luke, and Conor. Addie was a dear sister to Mena (Gribben), Frank, Pat (Hinfey), Jim, Henry-John, Bridie (Murray), and Detta (Costello), and was predeceased by her sisters Rosemary (McCloy) and Ella (McConomy). She is deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, friends, and wider family circle.

Funeral and Wake Arrangements

Addie’s remains will repose at her late residence for a wake on Monday, October 26th, and Tuesday, October 27th, from 2pm to 10pm. Her funeral will depart from the residence on Wednesday, October 28th, at 10:15am for an 11am Requiem Mass in the Church of St Michael’s, Lissan, with burial following in the adjoining cemetery. The funeral mass can also be viewed online via the MCN Media camera for St Michael’s, Lissan.
