Adele Announces Indefinite Hiatus from Music
August 31st marked Adele’s final performance in the United States. During the show, Adele announced that she would be taking an extended break from music, stating, “I’m really, really proud of myself, because I’ve managed to do it for three years, and it’s the longest I’ve ever done it, and it might be the longest I’ll ever do it.”
Notably, the original US tour dates were initially set to conclude with the August 31st show, but some dates were rescheduled to November due to unforeseen circumstances.
