Adly Fairuz: ‘General’ Assures Victims of Fraud Allegations
Adly Fairuz Sued for Alleged police Academy Scam
Actor Adly Fairuz faces a civil lawsuit for nearly 5 billion Indonesian Rupiah (approximately $312,000 USD as of January 9, 2026) in the south Jakarta District Court. The suit alleges Fairuz was involved in a scheme to defraud a man seeking to enroll his child in the police Academy (akpol).
Farly Lumopa, the plaintiff’s attorney, detailed the events leading to the lawsuit. His client, Abdul Hadi, claims he paid 3.65 billion Indonesian Rupiah (approximately $227,000 USD) believing it would guarantee his child’s admission to Akpol in either 2023 or 2024.
“Initially, we were told the money was handed over to General Ahmad,” Lumopa stated during a meeting in the Panglima Polim area of south Jakarta on Friday, January 9, 2026. “I was surprised and investigated who this General Ahmad was. As a member of a large Polri (Indonesian National police) family, I know many people in that environment, but the name was unfamiliar.”
Lumopa did not provide further details on the inquiry into the alleged “General Ahmad” at the time of this report.
