About the Creative 100
Now in its 12th year, the Adweek Creative 100 celebrates individuals who have considerably impacted culture through their creative work in marketing, advertising, media, and entertainment. Previous honorees include Jon Chu,Vince Staples,and zendaya,demonstrating the list’s broad scope and high standards.
The initiative aims to honor those shaping culture through advertising, brand marketing, social media, television, streaming, filmmaking, and visual arts.
Nomination Categories
This year’s Creative 100 features several categories to recognize diverse creative talent:
- Agency Creative Leaders: Executive Creative Directors (ECDs), Chief Creative officers (CCOs), and agency founders.
- Rising Agency Creative Talent: Copywriters, designers, Associate Creative Directors (ACDs), and Creative Directors (CDs).
- Brand Innovators: individuals leading and innovating a brand’s creative direction.
- Media, TV, and Streaming Innovators: Creators driving innovation in media, television, and streaming, including TV creators, podcasters, and newsletter founders.
- Directors: Filmmakers who have directed advertising or branded content.
- Celebrities and Creators: Individuals challenging norms and influencing culture.
- Visual Artists: Animators, designers, photographers, and other visual artists contributing work for brands.
Submission Details
Potential honorees can be nominated using the official nomination form.Adweek notes that the Creative 100 does not recognize repeat winners, so please verify that your nominee has not been previously honored.
