Aethon⁢ Books, a publisher specializing in science fiction, fantasy, ⁣and LitRPG ⁣e-books and audiobooks, has acquired a majority interest in Vault Comics, a Montana-based comic book publisher. The terms of the deal, building on a previous strategic partnership, were not disclosed.

Rhett C. bruno, Aethon CEO, ⁣stated the‍ acquisition brings both companies closer to creating a “one-stop-shop” for science fiction and fantasy ⁢authors. Vault Comics will continue under the leadership of CEO Damian Wassel and CCO Adrian Wassel. Aethon co-founders Rhett Bruno and Steve Beaulieu will join Vault’s board.

Damian Wassel confirmed that current staffing at Vault Comics will not ‍be affected. He added that investors including Jeff ⁤Ubben, UTA, Crush Ventures, and Metallica’s Black Squirrel Partners remain invested in ⁢the company.
