“It left me wanting so much more. it left me wanting to do a full storyline with Mercedes Mone,” Athena said, reflecting on their first meeting. “I felt like in that moment, I was proud of myself.”
Mone has also expressed interest in seeing Athena featured more prominently on AEW television.Athena has maintained a dominant championship run in ROH for over 900 days but has had limited crossover appearances in AEW since her move to ROH.
