AEW Dynamite Spring Breakthru: MJF vs. Darby Allin and More Title Matches Announced

AEW CEO, President and General Manager Tony Khan has announced three championship matches for the AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru special, scheduled for April 15, 2026. The event will take place at the Angels of the Wind Arena in Everett, Washington.

The main attraction features MJF defending the AEW World Championship against Darby Allin. The match was announced during the media scrum following AEW Dynasty, where MJF successfully retained his title in a main event bout against Kenny Omega.

Darby Allin earned his opportunity to challenge for the title by defeating Andrade El Idolo at AEW Dynasty. Allin specifically requested that the match take place in Everett, Washington, which is approximately 30 minutes from his hometown of Seattle.

Tony Khan and Renee Paquette noted during the post-show press conference that they were unable to inform MJF of the title defense in person, as the champion had already left Rogers Place following his victory over Omega.

TNT and TBS Championship Bouts

The event will also feature a defense of the AEW TNT Championship. The newly crowned champion, Kevin Knight, is set to defend the title against Claudio Castagnoli. Knight secured the championship after winning the Casino Gauntlet match at AEW Dynasty.

Willow Nightingale will defend the AEW TBS Championship against Kamille. The match follows Kamille’s return during the Dynasty Zero Hour, where she attacked Nightingale, specifically targeting her left shoulder. Prior to the assault on the champion, Kamille defeated Big Anne.

This marks Kamille’s first appearance on AEW programming since November 29, 2024. Her previous exit occurred after a split from Mercedes Mone and a backstage attack by an unidentified individual.

Kamille’s External Ventures

Outside of her return to AEW, Kamille is appearing in the reboot of American Gladiators under the name Hurricane. The first season of the series consists of 10 episodes and is scheduled to premiere on April 17, 2026, hosted by The Miz.
