AEW News: Mariah May update; star injured
Mariah May’s AEW Status in Question; Harley Cameron injured
Updated May 31, 2025
The future of Mariah May with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is now uncertain. May’s profile disappeared from the AEW roster page on may 30, 2025, igniting speculation about her departure from the promotion.
Fightful Select reports that May’s two-year contract with AEW is nearing its conclusion. Barring any last-minute changes, she is expected to leave AEW. Representatives for May stated that her contract had not officially expired as of 1:30 p.m.ET, despite the roster page alteration.
AEW management was reportedly aware of May’s intentions. WWE has expressed interest in her for some time. Sources within AEW were surprised that May’s contract lacked an option year, which would have allowed AEW to extend her deal.
As of now, there is no indication that AEW will release May early from her contract. May last appeared on AEW programming at the Revolution pay-per-view in March, where she lost to ”timeless” Toni Storm.
In other news, Harley Cameron sustained an injury during the Double or nothing event this past Sunday. Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline reports that Cameron will be out of action following the injury she sustained in the tag team match where she and Anna Jay were defeated by Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford.
Cameron’s bleeding during the no disqualification match was legitimate and used to set up the storyline for her time off. The duration of her absence remains unknown.
what’s next
Wrestling fans will be watching closely to see where Mariah May’s career takes her next, and how Harley Cameron recovers from her injury.
