Maxwell Jacob Friedman,known as MJF,made a shocking return to Major League Wrestling (MLW) at the Summer of the Beasts event in Queens,N.Y. his appearance saw him attacking lucha libre legend Mistico, escalating their ongoing feud.
The incident occurred during Mistico’s appearance at the Melrose Ballroom. CONTRA Unit interrupted Mistico, but the masked assailants were fended off. Though, Mistico then faced off against one opponent wearing a replica of his mask. The masked wrestler was revealed to be Friedman.
This marked MJF’s first appearance for MLW in over five years. His last match was against Mance warner in April 2020.
