All Elite Wrestling’s Summer Blockbuster event on June 11 will feature Will Ospreay facing Swerve Strickland in a highly anticipated match.The event is part of a four-hour programming block.
Ospreay addressed the crowd, accompanied by Tony Schiavone, after AEW’s Fyter Fest. He criticized his failed attempt to unite Adam Page and Swerve Strickland. Ospreay dismissed Jon Moxley, blaming his title reign for AEW’s problems. He then declared Strickland a threat, notably to Page’s championship aspirations, before challenging him to the match.
Also on the card, “Timeless” Toni Storm will defend against Julia Hart. Mercedes Moné will join the commentary team for the women’s match, adding fuel to speculation about future rivalries in the division.
