Despite interest from North Melbourne, Adelaide, Port Adelaide, and Sydney, Maynard chose to remain with Collingwood.
Maynard acknowledged the Magpie Army’s unwavering support. He said it was a privilege to represent them each week and looked forward to continuing to play in front of them for years to come. His current form remains excellent, despite a foot injury that will keep him sidelined for at least one more game.
Meanwhile,Kysaiah Pickett,24,has signed a massive seven-year extension with Melbourne,keeping him with the Demons for nine years total.
