Tunisia Secures Victory Over Gambia in African Cup of Nations Qualifiers

Tunisia ⁢scored a ‍goal in each half against the Gambia national team in⁤ the second‌ round of Group A of the African Cup of ⁤Nations qualifiers on Sunday.

Ali Al-Abidi opened the ​scoring in ​the⁣ 11th minute with‌ a header after he collected a rebound from Gambia national team goalkeeper ‍Sheikh Sebi following a direct free kick taken by Mohamed‍ Ali⁢ bin Ramadan.

The Tunisian ⁢side did not hold on to their lead⁤ for long, as Ali himself⁣ equalized three minutes later with an ⁢individual effort from‌ Yankouba Menteh ⁣on ⁢the⁢ right and a cross that Soweh absorbed and shot a ball from ⁢close range that ‍deceived goalkeeper Aman Allah Mamish.

But in the 75th minute, Mohammed Ali Ben Ramadan returned the advantage to ⁢Tunisia with⁤ a penalty shot from ⁤Royed Bauchneiber’s cross.
