Investigation Leads to Arrests
Egyptian authorities have arrested six individuals connected to an unlicensed health club in the Agouza district. The arrests followed an investigation initiated by the General Administration for the Protection of Arts within the Specialized Police Sector, which uncovered evidence of illegal activity.
Investigators determined the club was being operated by an individual with a prior criminal record and was being used to facilitate activities deemed contrary to public morals in exchange for payment. The operation targeted individuals seeking these services without discrimination.
Details of the Arrest
security forces raided the health club and apprehended the primary suspect,along with three women – one of whom also has a criminal history – and three additional individuals. Notably, one of those arrested was a young man who had been presenting himself as a woman.
Legal Proceedings
All six individuals confessed to their involvement in the illicit activities upon questioning. Legal measures are currently being taken to prepare the case for presentation to the Public Prosecution, where formal charges will be filed and the judicial process will begin.
