Un ancien humoriste qui a «torturé psychologiquement» une femme en l’agressant sexuellement à deux reprises il y a une décennie est maintenant condamné à lui verser près de 90 000 $.
La victime, dont l’identité est protégée par un ordre de la cour, a décidé de se tourner vers les tribunaux civils plutôt que criminels afin de faire reconnaître les agressions qu’elle a vécues.
En 2015, la femme de 22 ans cherchait à obtenir du réconfort auprès de Jessy Sheehy parce qu’elle vivait des moments difficiles avec sa fréquentation, le meilleur ami de l’humoriste.

Mais Sheehy n’était pas satisfait: il lui a demandé de se masturber à son tour.
«Elle accepte, non pas parce qu’elle le désire, mais parce qu’elle veut mettre fin à ce que le Tribunal qualifie de torture psychologique», a souligné le juge Forlini.
Deuxième victime
Une deuxième femme a aussi témoigné au procès avoir été agressée sexuellement par Jessy Sheehy à cette époque, cette fois-ci dans un spa alors qu’elle était fortement intoxiquée. Selon le juge Forlini, ce deuxième événement démontre un modus operandi de la part de l’humoriste.
Cette preuve dite de faits similaires a été révélée au grand public lors du procès civil opposant neuf femmes au fondateur de Juste pour rire Gilbert Rozon, où sept autres présumées victimes ont aussi témoigné des agressions qu’elles auraient subies.
