Obituary for Agustine (Gus) Cummins

Agustine (Gus) Cummins of Rathkineely, Ballinagare, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, passed away peacefully on November 14th, 2024, surrounded by his family and cared for by the staff at Oakwood Nursing Home Roscommon.

He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Ann, his wife, Lilly, and his brothers, Johnny and Jer. Recently, he also lost his sister, Gertie.

Gus is deeply missed by his heartbroken family. He leaves behind his children: Loretta, John, Austin, and Sheila. His grandchildren: Daniel, Lilly, Pete, Frankie, Jack, Katie, Charlotte, Catherine, and Daithi will cherish his memory. He is also survived by sons-in-law Peter and Padraig, daughters-in-law Hannah and Melissa, as well as nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
