Juventus Pursues Swiss Midfielder Denis Zakaria
A Saudi club, featuring familiar faces like Kessie and Ibanez, has expressed interest in relaunching a bid of up to 30 million euros, but Juventus appears unwilling to negotiate. Instead, the Italian club is prioritizing the potential acquisition of former player Denis Zakaria, who made 11 appearances and scored one goal for Juventus in 2022.
Zakaria’s Current Situation
Zakaria currently plays for Monaco, having been sold by Juventus in August 2023 for 20 million euros plus a 5% percentage of any future resale. A deal involving Zakaria would see approximately 40 million euros change hands, with approximately 2 million euros going to Juventus.
Juventus is reportedly pleased with the prospect of Zakaria’s return, as it coudl provide a financial boost to the club’s coffers.
