Following the crash, the tata Group, which owns Air ⁣India, announced compensation of 10 million rupees for the families of the deceased. The IMA acknowledged Air India’s ​compensation proclamation and requested further support for the​ affected medical students‌ and doctors,⁣ recognizing their vital future role in healthcare.

In a letter to Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, the IMA requested⁤ financial aid for the medical students present at‌ the crash site who were injured or lost their lives.⁤ The letter emphasized the importance of​ supporting ⁢these future healthcare ⁢professionals and their families.
